Februar 2022 ihr 70-j\u00e4hriges Jubil\u00e4um als Monarchin hatte, war mir nicht bewusst. Siebzig Jahre im Amt, unfassbar! Das muss man erst einmal hinkriegen. Nat\u00fcrlich feiern die Briten das ordentlich, von neuen Briefmarken bis hin zu einem <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/uk-england-london-61187850\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Baum, der vor Buckingham Palace stehen soll und aus 350 einheimischen B\u00e4umen zusammengebastelt wird<\/a>; alle haben sich in Schale geschmissen und im \u00fcbertragenen Sinne das beste Sonntagskleid angezogen. Es wurde auch ein <a href=\"https:\/\/platinumjubilee.gov.uk\/the-platinum-pudding-competition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Backwettbewerb<\/a> ausgerufen, der Platin-Pudding oder auf Englisch plantinum pudding (platinum=70 Jahre). Briten ab einem Alter von 8 Jahren konnten ihr Rezept einreichen, zu Ehren der Queen. Mehr als 5.000 haben wohl ein Rezept eingereicht, am Ende wurde die Gewinnerin Jemma Melvin mit einem Lemon Swiss roll trifle mit Amaretti. Ich finde es jedoch toll, dass Zorra vom Kochtopf ebenfalls ein <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kochtopf.me\/blog-event-pudding\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Blogevent<\/a> ins Leben gerufen hat. Pudding f\u00fcr die Queen. Dabei wird &#8222;Pudding&#8220; sehr weit gefasst und beinhaltet im Endeffekt alle S\u00fc\u00dfspeisen wie Kuchen und Pies. Da bin ich doch gerne dabei. Ich musste dann sofort an den britischen Banoffee Pie denken, Banoffee ist eine Wortkreation aus Banane und Toffee, also Karamell. Der Pie besteht aus einem Keksboden (in England &#8222;digestive biscuit&#8220;), einer Toffee- oder Karamellschicht, Bananen und Schlagsahne sowie Schokoraspeln. Ich machte zwei Versionen des Pies, zun\u00e4chst verwendete ich sogenannte <a href=\"https:\/\/jennyisbaking.com\/de\/2019\/05\/21\/how-to-make-homemade-dulce-de-leche\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dulce de leche, die Karamellcreme aus S\u00fcdamerika<\/a>. Dann machte ich Banoffee-Pie ganz klassisch mit Toffee. Hierbei hielt ich mich an das <a href=\"https:\/\/thehappyfoodie.co.uk\/recipes\/mary-berrys-banoffee-pie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rezept der britischen Backikone Mary Berry<\/a> (die \u00fcbrigens Jurymitglied beim oben genannten britischen Wettbewerb ist). Ich muss jedoch sagen, h\u00fcstel, h\u00fcstel, dass mir die Variante mit <a href=\"https:\/\/jennyisbaking.com\/de\/2019\/05\/21\/how-to-make-homemade-dulce-de-leche\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dulce de leche<\/a> besser gef\u00e4llt. Ansonsten ist der Pie schwer zu essen als auch das Toffee einfach so dominant, dass man gar nichts anderes mehr schmeckt. Durch die zus\u00e4tzliche Butter und dem Zucker wird der Toffee ziemlich gummiartig, fast wie Fudge, sodass man kaum ein St\u00fcck essen kann, ohne dass der Toffee einem zwischen den Z\u00e4hnen klebt und ein ziemliches Chaos auf dem Teller verursacht.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" zubereite. F\u00fcr den <b>Boden<\/b> die Butter schmelzen und die Kekse entweder im Food-Prozessor oder mithilfe von Nudelholz und in eine geschlossene Plastikt\u00fcte verpackt fein zermahlen. Dann die geschmolzene Butter dazugeben und alles vermischen. Auf den Boden einer Pieform oder Springform von ca. 23cm dr\u00fccken. Ich nehme gerne den Boden eines Glases, um eine gleichm\u00e4\u00dfige Oberfl\u00e4che zu erhalten und den Rand etwas hochzudr\u00fccken. Mindestens 15min im K\u00fchlschrank k\u00fchlen. <\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"step\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"step-number\">2<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"step-content\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>F\u00fcr die <b>F\u00fcllung<\/b> die Bananen in ca. 1cm dicke Scheiben schneiden und kreisf\u00f6rmig auf den Keksboden legen. Ich betr\u00e4ufle sie gerne noch mit etwas Zitronensaft, dann werden sie nicht braun und es gibt noch mal ein kleines Gegengewicht gegen die ganze S\u00fc\u00dfe. Dann die Dose dulce de leche gleichm\u00e4\u00dfig darauf verteilen. Derweil man die Sahne schl\u00e4gt, Pie im K\u00fchlschrank k\u00fchlen. <\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"step\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"step-number\">3<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"step-content\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Die Sahne mit dem Zucker und Vanillextrakt steif schlagen und kuppelartig auf dem Pie verteilen. Entweder mit einem Gem\u00fcsesch\u00e4ler Raspeln von Schokolade aufraspeln oder aber einfach direkt Schokoraspeln verteilen. Das muss aber nicht sein. Ich nehme gerne den Boden eines Glases, um eine gleichm\u00e4\u00dfige Oberfl\u00e4che zu erhalten und den Rand etwas hochzudr\u00fccken. Mindestens 15min im K\u00fchlschrank k\u00fchlen. \",\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\"F\u00fcr die <b>F\u00fcllung<\/b> die Bananen in ca. 1cm dicke Scheiben schneiden und kreisf\u00f6rmig auf den Keksboden legen. Ich betr\u00e4ufle sie gerne noch mit etwas Zitronensaft, dann werden sie nicht braun und es gibt noch mal ein kleines Gegengewicht gegen die ganze S\u00fc\u00dfe. Dann die Dose dulce de leche gleichm\u00e4\u00dfig darauf verteilen. Derweil man die Sahne schl\u00e4gt, Pie im K\u00fchlschrank k\u00fchlen. \",\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\"Die Sahne mit dem Zucker und Vanillextrakt steif schlagen und kuppelartig auf dem Pie verteilen. Entweder mit einem Gem\u00fcsesch\u00e4ler Raspeln von Schokolade aufraspeln oder aber einfach direkt Schokoraspeln verteilen. Das muss aber nicht sein.
