Trotz dieser Latte an Symptomen habe ich keine Folgesch\u00e4den davongetragen. Nat\u00fcrlich feiere ich diesen besonderen Tag immer mit einer dekadenten Kreation meinerseits. Heute gibt es eine britische Kalorienbombe: sticky toffee pudding.\u00a0 Ich habe es schon einige Male erz\u00e4hlt, letzten Herbst waren wir zum ersten Mal in Schottland unterwegs. Nat\u00fcrlich haben wir auch lokale Spezialit\u00e4ten gegessen, nat\u00fcrlich auch toffee pudding. Ich wusste, dass ich diese Kreation lieben w\u00fcrde. Ein klebriger Kuchenteig mit Datteln, der quasi wie ein Blechkuchen in St\u00fccke geschnitten und mit einer Karamellso\u00dfe (toffee) \u00fcbergossen wird. Es gibt auch die Variante, bei der man kleinere einzelne F\u00f6rmchen serviert, aber ich entschied mich f\u00fcr die traditionelle Pr\u00e4sentation. Klebriger Karamellkuchen, so in etwa k\u00f6nnte man diesen Kuchen auf Deutsch nennen. Die Datteln intensivieren den Karamellgeschmack, sind selbst aber kaum zu rauszuschmecken. Ich k\u00f6nnte mich in diese Kreation reinlegen, ein absoluter neuer Liebling, sogar mein Mann ist begeistert. Besonders toll finde ich, dass der Kuchen nicht sonderlich viel Aufwand ist, auch Anf\u00e4ngern gut gelingt und man die Toffee-So\u00dfe zubereiten kann, w\u00e4hrend der Kuchen b\u00e4ckt. F\u00fcr viel Geschmack relativ wenig Aufwand. Derweil den Ofen auf 180 Grad Ober- und Unterhitze vorheizen, eine 20x20cm rechteckige Backform mit Backpapier belegen oder 8 Dessertsch\u00e4lchen (meine fassen 120ml) ausbuttern, eine gro\u00dfe Sch\u00fcssel hervorsuchen und die weiteren Zutaten bereitstellen. <\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"step\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"step-number\">2<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"step-content\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Dann weiche Butter mit dem Zur\u00fcckerr\u00fcbensirup in der Sch\u00fcssel einige Minuten cremig schlagen, Zucker hinzuf\u00fcgen und cremig r\u00fchren, die Eier einzeln einr\u00fchren. Jetzt die Datteln mitsamt der Fl\u00fcssigkeit p\u00fcrieren. Dann Mehl und das Backpulver nur kurz mit dem Rest vermengen, die p\u00fcrierten Datteln am Schluss ebenso kurz einarbeiten. Teig in der Kuchenform oder Dessertsch\u00e4lchen  gleichm\u00e4\u00dfig verteilen und auf mittlerer Schiene ca. 35min backen, die Sch\u00e4lchen brauchen nur ca. 25min, St\u00e4bchenprobe machen. <\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"step\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"step-number\">3<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"step-content\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>F\u00fcr die <b>Toffee-So\u00dfe<\/b> alle Zutaten in einen Topf geben und bei mittlerer Hitze schmelzen, dabei gelegentlich umr\u00fchren. Dann die Hitze erh\u00f6hen und ca. 2 Minuten blubbern lassen, vom Herd nehmen. <\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"step\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"step-number\">4<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"step-content\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In den fertigen Kuchen mit dem Zahnstocher oder einer Gabel L\u00f6cher pieksen und ca. 1\/3 Drittel der Toffee-So\u00dfe \u00fcber den Kuchen gie\u00dfen. Beides kann noch warm sein. Den Rest der So\u00dfe zu den einzelnen St\u00fccken servieren mitsamt Vanilleeis. Die Kuchenst\u00fccke lassen sich super einfrieren, dazu einzeln luftdicht verpackt einfrieren und \u00fcber Nacht im K\u00fchlschrank auftauen.
