Es ist von Natur aus glutenfrei und \u00e4hnelt etwas dem amerikanischen &#8222;Cornbread&#8220;. Es wird traditionell mit Fleisch (asado) gereicht und eignet sich wunderbar als Beilage zu kr\u00e4ftigen Eint\u00f6pfen und Suppen. Gerne auch zur <a href=\"https:\/\/jennyisbaking.com\/de\/2026\/01\/09\/vori-vori-beste-suppe-aus-paraguay\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">paraguaischen Suppe Vori Vori<\/a>. Auch zum Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck ist es nicht un\u00fcblich. Eine Erkl\u00e4rung lautet, dass der erste Pr\u00e4sident der Nation, Don Carlos Antonio L\u00f3pez, bei seinem Koch seine Lieblingssuppe &#8222;sopa blanca&#8220; bestellte. Der Koch gab aus Versehen viel zu viel Maismehl hinzu, entschloss sich aber das Gericht einfach in einer Pfanne fertig zu r\u00f6sten, statt alles wegzuwerfen. Dem Pr\u00e4sidenten gefiel diese neue &#8222;Suppe&#8220; so gut, dass er sie kurzerhand sopa paraguaya nannte; sie war der der Nation w\u00fcrdig. So bekam eine brot\u00e4hnliche Beilage den irref\u00fchrenden Namen. Am besten noch warm servieren. Sopa paraguaya macht sich gut zu Fleisch, Eint\u00f6pfen und Suppen und kann auch pur gegessen werden. Insbesondere zur paraguayischen Suppe <a href=\"https:\/\/jennyisbaking.com\/de\/2026\/01\/09\/vori-vori-beste-suppe-aus-paraguay\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vori Vori<\/a> kann ich die Beilage empfehlen.
