Dieses Land hat so viel mehr zu bieten als nur Dschungel. Neben den Anden gibt es zum Beispiel Savannen, eine W\u00fcste, die Karibik und die ber\u00fchmte Kaffeeregion. Es ist eines der L\u00e4nder mit der meisten Artenvielfalt, z.B. schon nur Kolibris gibt es mehr als hundert verschiedene Arten, die alle in atemberaubender Akrobatik selbst in der Millionenhauptstadt Bogot\u00e1 unterwegs sind. Oder auch Fr\u00fcchte, fast t\u00e4glich habe ich wieder eine Frucht gegessen, die ich noch nie vorher gesehen, geschweige denn gegessen habe und die f\u00fcr wenige Cents einen mit ihrer S\u00fc\u00dfe und Saftigkeit begeistern. Nach den \u00fcblichen Fragen was wir denn so auf unserer Reise durch das Land geplant hatten, folgte fast immer die Frage, was mir als Deutsche denn am Essen gefallen w\u00fcrde. Und da lautete meine Standardantwort immer: <a href=\"https:\/\/jennyisbaking.com\/de\/2020\/07\/31\/wie-macht-man-perfekte-arepas-aus-kolumbien-oder-venezuela\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">arepa<\/a>! <a href=\"https:\/\/jennyisbaking.com\/de\/2020\/07\/31\/wie-macht-man-perfekte-arepas-aus-kolumbien-oder-venezuela\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arepas<\/a> werden von Kolumbianern ebenso geliebt wie das Brot von den Deutschen. Arepas sind Maisfladen, die entweder langsam in der Pfanne gebr\u00e4unt oder im Ofen gebacken werden. Arepas werden meist zum Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck gereicht, aber es gibt sie auch in Miniausf\u00fchrung zu Mittag oder Abendessen. Am besten direkt frisch aus der Pfanne werden sie nur mit etwas Butter bestrichen, gesalzen und so verspeist, oft mit einer Tasse Schokolade. Es gibt sie gr\u00f6\u00dfer und kleiner, flacher und dicklicher und mit den unterschiedlichsten F\u00fcllungen (z.B. auch Ei). Mir besonders angetan hat es die arepa boyacense. Der Name Boyac\u00e1 ist der Name eines departamentos, vergleichbar mit einem Bundesland, in Kolumbien. Hei\u00dft also, die stammt aus dem Bundesland Boyac\u00e1, wird aber gl\u00fccklicherweise auch in anderen Teilen des Landes gemacht. Was mir so an dieser arepa gef\u00e4llt, ist die K\u00e4sef\u00fcllung, mmmmh, einfach genial. Traditionellerweise werden sie mit Frischk\u00e4se gef\u00fcllt (siehe auch Bilder der Anleitung). Ich finde jedoch Mozzarella die leckerere Variante. Auch mein Ehemann findet sie ausgesprochen gut mit Mozzarella und immerhin ist er Kolumbianer.<\/p>\n<p>Ich habe das Rezept so angepasst, dass man alle Zutaten in Deutschland findet und dazu nicht extra in Spezialgesch\u00e4fte rennen muss. Maismehl gibt es mittlerweile in allen g\u00e4ngigen Superm\u00e4rkten. Der Teig ist schnell zusammengemixt, auch die Fladen zu formen dauert nicht so lange, wenn man einmal raus hat wie es geht. Deshalb habe ich auch extra ganz viele Bilder beigef\u00fcgt, die einen Schritt f\u00fcr Schritt an die Hand nehmen.<\/p>\n<p>Und dann hei\u00dft es einfach mal genie\u00dfen!
