Plum Tiramisu

Today we have plum tiramisu with no alcohol or raw egg. Do you think I am in a plum craze? You bet! But to my defense, you seem to be, too. Currently the 9 recipes with plums, the plum tart with cinnamon crumbs as well as kaiserschmarrn or broken-up pancakes with plum compote, these three articles are currently on very high demand and are clicked on by the thousands. So I figured, apparently I am not the only one who loves this stone fruit. So if you love it as much as I do, I decided to make the late summer equivalent to this strawberry tiramisu, which in spring and early summer was viewed more than 72,000 times. And since this time I was lazy and decided to buy ladyfingers, I promise you, this is a super delicious dessert you can impress with anyone and serve to guests.

Strawberry Tiramisu with no Raw Egg or Alcohol

Strawberry tiramisu with no raw egg or alcohol, who would be interested in a piece? It probably comes as no surprise that I am a huge fan of tiramisu as it contains my beloved sponge cake. I love tiramisu with a fruity flavor. For that reason you can already find a strawberry tiramisu cake on my blog as well as the Brazilian version with peaches.  Today I wanted to introduce the “classic” version. But I am using the word classic lightly as we will make the ladyfingers ourselves and will simply make one full layer instead of single ladyfingers and we use the fruit strawberry. Try to imagine a tiramisu sweetened with elderflower cordial, a slightly lighter cream with mascarpone and farmer’s cheese with no raw egg and strawberries sandwiched in between, once as puree and once fresh. I did enjoy this dessert a lot!

Vegan Tiramisu with Homemade Ladyfingers

Veganes Tiramisu mit selbstgemachten Löffelbiskuits

Today I am introducing vegan tiramisu with homemade ladyfingers. To me it almost tastes as good as the original. Since I am using vegan cream cheese (almond based) and vegan whipping cream (coconut-oil based), this vegan tiramisu is free of soy, cashew, or tofu. I find it extra delicious and perfect for any special occasion such as a birthday.

Delicious Strawberry Stracciatella Cake

Hohe Erdbeer-Stracciatella-Torte

I have a super delicious strawberry stracciatella cake for you for Mother’s day! I won’t deny it, this cake is quite a bit of work, but in my opinion that’s OK for showing your gratitude for your mom. The base is a vanilla sponge cake, which is then filled with a strawberry stracciatella filling and topped off with a Swiss meringue buttercream. I decided to brush the cake layers with some coffee to keep it moist. Also, before we fill the cake, we are going to spread some strawberry jam on each cake layer. This all will help for the cake to stay moist even on the third and fourth day and also gives you the chance to prepare it in advance.

Pavê de pêssego or Tiramisu with Peaches Brazilian Style

Pavê de pêssego oder Tiramisu mit Pfirsichen auf Brasilianisch

You guys, finally I get to introduce something from Brazil on my blog. Did you know that you can find all Latin American recipes here? Since I was born in Uruguay and my husband is Colombian, you will find a lot of recipes from those countries on this blog. Yes, I also have a caramel custard from Peru called suspiro limeño on this blog and the gluten-free cheese buns from Paraguay called chipa are very popular. However, Brazil somehow hasn’t made it as of yet even though it has such a vast variety to offer and super delicious cuisine. Anyway, be it as it may, today this pavê de pêssego will make the start, this is a layered peach dessert.

Strawberry Tiramisu Cake

Erdbeer-Tiramisu-Torte

Strawberry Tiramisu Cake! If this is not a cake for Mother’s Day, I don’t know what is. I was inspired by this strawberry tiramisu from Life is full of goodies (in German), which I can highly recommend. I have had people specifically requesting that recipe for a get together, so check it out! Anyway, since the strawberry tiramisu was such a hit, I decided to make this a cake. Because, you know mother’s day? I won’t deny that this is an extremely rich and decadent cake. But with such a sweet heart on the top I believe it is worth it. Oh, and just so you know, it does not contain any raw egg or alcohol.

Tiramisu Sponge Roll

Tiramisu-Biskuitrolle

Guys, I don’t know if I will ever be able to eat regular tiramisu, seriously tiramisu sponge roll is the best! I have to admit, I have not been a big fan of ladyfingers. At least the store-bought ones. They are so dry! For tiramisu to taste great, you have to wait for the ladyfingers to moisten properly. And I am too lazy to actually make the ladyfingers myself.

Tiramisu-BiskuitrolleBut then I finally knew it. You need to know that I am a big fan of sponge rolls. For that reason you will find a share of sponge rolls on my blog. Try this pumpkin roll with apple cream, this roll with blueberries or this strawberry roll. Sponge cake is so light and fluffy, I really love its texture. And one day while I was checking out Pinterest, it suddenly hit me. Of course this is the solution! Why not make tiramisu in a roll instead? Why not omit the dry ladyfingers and instead replace them with my favorite sponge cake? Yes, I had to try this out immediately.
